Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components (split units, chillers, ductwork, etc.)
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and service reports.
- Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and safety regulations.
- Monitor and adjust system settings for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure facility comfort.
- Provide emergency repairs as needed during weekends or off-hours.
- Recommend system upgrades or replacements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC required.
- 2 years of experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces.
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
