McDonald’s has sponsored and developed a one-kilometre jogging track at Garrison High School in Lahore Cantonment to encourage health and fitness in school-going kids and their families.
Mckricket: Children’s Coaching Program
In collaboration with Pakistan Cricket Board, McDonald’s launched McKricket, a non-profit coaching program for children (7-9 years of age), bringing youngsters and their parents out to playgrounds where they are taught basic cricketing skills along with the essence of discipline and teamwork.
Played on the grassy grounds of Race Course Park, Lahore, with specially designed safe plastic equipment, McKricket is a hot favorite with parents and kids looking for a wholesome, healthy and fun-filled activity.

McDonald’s sponsored the 10th National Women’s Swimming Championship. Participants from all over Pakistan took part in the event, making it one of the most celebrated sports events of the country.
McDonald’s initiated National Inter-School Swimming Championship
It’s been the custom of McDonald’s to passionately promote healthy games like swimming, among the youth of Pakistan. McDonald’s initiated National Inter-School Swimming Championship four years ago. The event was organized last year as well, to encourage students to take part in a healthy sport and show their talent.
McDonald’s Teacher’s Day
McDonald’s has always honored teachers and their role in the society. McDonald’s has been celebrating Teacher’s Day, for the last four year all over the country, to appreciate teachers and to acknowledge their services. Students from different schools throughout the country participate actively in the celebration of this event. A best teacher competition is organized for the students, and gifts are presented to the winning teachers and students. Students also write messages for their favorite teachers.
