For Special Persons
McDonalds firmly believes that looking after people and environment goes hand in hand with good financial results. Being responsible corporate citizens, we love to provide support and encouragement to the people who need it the most. As part of a global network of local family restaurants, McDonalds is proud to give back to the communities it operates in. Whether it's supporting local sports events, helping talented special persons, sponsoring charity program or taking steps to improve our neighborhoods, our support reflects our commitment to the people and the communities.
McDonald’s Founder, Ray Kroc Said:
“We have an obligation to give something back to the community and it pays dividends”
“We have an obligation to give something back to the community and it pays dividends” At McDonald’s we are moving from awareness to action. Our goal is to have people within our organization working and living to reach their full potential. At McDonald’s, diversity and inclusion are parts of our culture- from the crew room to the Board Room. We are working to achieve this goal every day by creating an environment for everyone to contribute their best. From the start, we’ve been committed to doing the right thing. And we’ve got the policies, programs and practices in place that allow us to make a difference because, what’s good for us, is good for all of us.
We place the customer experience at the core of all we do. Our customers are the reason for our existence. We demonstrate our appreciation by providing them with high quality food and superior service, in clean, welcoming environment, at a great value. Our goal is QSC&V for each and every customer, each and every time.
Hiring Program For Special Persons
We are dedicated to delivering great experiences through our ongoing community support programs. One of the famous Support programs, making us to stand out our competitions, is the “Hiring Program for Special Persons” Generally in Pakistan, many persons with disabilities are reduced to objects of pity, despite the fact that they are more than willing to support themselves. McDonald’s believe that Equal Employment pportunities and non-discriminatory Work Environment can contribute to rehabilitation of persons with disabilities- and make them a productive member of community.
We contribute to rebuild their lives. McDonald’s is contributing to the rehabilitation of Special Persons by hiring and developing them at every McDonald’s restaurant in Pakistan and accentuate that: “Being disabled should not mean being disqualified from having access to every aspect of life.”
How We Started
To Change The Lives Of Special Persons
In 2006, a nonprofit organization, “Green Meadows” approached McDonald’s management for the placement of a group of special persons at McDonald’s restaurant for apprenticeship and vocational training.
McDonald’s Pakistan played the role of torch bearer by taking the lead to endorse this commendable initiative in collaboration with Green Meadows. The Visionary CEO of McDonald’s Pakistan, Mr. Amin Mohammed Lakhani, is truly the man behind this dream come true.
